The terms.

By downloading or using TimeOut ("the App") you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the App. The App is also subject to Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement.

TimeOut is an iOS app that blocks apps, app categories and websites on a schedule or on a timer, using Apple's Screen Time framework. It needs Screen Time access to work. You can revoke that access at any time in iOS Settings.

TimeOut is free. There are no subscriptions, in-app purchases or ads, and no account is needed.

TimeOut is a self-control tool. Blocking depends on iOS and can be affected by iOS updates, Screen Time settings, restarts or bugs. Don't rely on it for anything safety-critical, and don't block apps you may need in an emergency.

• DEEP mode and DEEP timers are deliberately hard to exit. If you forget your DEEP password, you may have to wait for the block to end.
• Settings → Disarm Everything removes all shields immediately. Deleting the App also removes them.

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer or redistribute the App except where law allows
• Use the App to restrict another person's device without their consent
• Use the App in violation of any applicable law

TimeOut stores everything on your device and collects nothing. See the privacy policy.

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee it will be error-free, uninterrupted or fit for a particular purpose.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages from your use of the App, including missed messages, lost productivity or lost data.

We may update these terms. The new version will be posted here with an updated date, and continuing to use the App means you accept it. You can stop using TimeOut at any time by deleting it. We may discontinue the App at any time.

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the developer is based, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
